The Turkish Riviera around Antalya, Side, Belek and Alanya is the beating heart of the beach holiday: spacious, modern resorts with water parks, short transfers from Antalya airport, and value for money few destinations can match. For something quieter or more authentic, choose the Aegean coast around Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye, where pine forests run down to turquoise coves and gulets (wooden sailing boats) wait for a day at sea.
