Segovia is a city in Castile and León in northern Spain, with a population of 51,000 in 2023. Its old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the top sights being the Roman aqueduct, the cathedral, and the Disneyesque castle. It's 90 km north of Madrid and most visitors come on a day-trip, but it's worth staying longer, especially to enjoy the evenings after the tourist hordes depart.
